No matter street, chic, high fashion, or red carpet - every aesthetic is her aesthetic. She has been called “a one woman show.” Aside from her unmistakable style aptitude, Kimberly V is well known for her ability to work under pressure without a sweat. Her goal is not only for her client to appear their most authentic stylish self, but to feel amazing.
Never offering a generic look, it is her personal touch that defines her from the rest. Keri Hilson commented, “I’ve never had the sock treatment before [Kimberly V].” She always goes above and beyond to make her client feel their best self. More than just a stylist, Kimberly V studied Fashion design and marketing at Katherine Gibbs University. It is her belief that one must know the past and present of fashion in order to forecast it’s future. That’s exactly why she spent two years working under one of the industries best before jumping out on her own. World-renowned stylist, Cannon, was then and still is one of her greatest mentors. Under his tutelage, Kimberly V styled Golden Globe Nominee, Director Sebastian Silva, Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, as well as Jason Wu and Zac Posen Fashion Shows. It is this experience that taught her how to improvise in an emergency and never panic.
Though her client list reads more like a celebrity who’s who, Kimberly V is still always modest. She approaches each job with the same intensity. From Late Night Shows such as Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Chelsea Lately or the editorial pages of Zink, Kimberly V has always offered the same impeccable service across the board. Having styled both men and women such as Usher, Drake, Keri Hilson, Ne-yo, Jordan Sparks and many others, Kimberly V works well with a variety of different personalities and teams.
