Determination, ambition, and an incredible work ethic have proven to be the keys to success for costumier and star stylist Lindsay Driscoll. Driscoll made good use of her natural eye for style and today she is a highly respected and regarded stylist and image consultant.
Driscoll began her career by studying fashion design and merchandising at Iowa State University. While studying, opportunity knocked at her door, when she began working in the wardrobe department of a local venue that hosted big acts. Driscoll assisted in styling Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Dixie Chicks, and Prince. In conjunction with styling mega musicians, Driscoll also studied abroad in London. There she learned about costuming and worked in a costume shop, where she developed her eye and skills for period piece wardrobe styling.
Driscoll received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State Univesity. All her hard work paid off when she was asked to join Prince's 'Musicology' tour, where Driscoll dressed Prince and his band. After the 'Musicology' tour, Driscoll joined Jay-Z and R.Kelly for the Best of Both Worlds tour. She has since styled: T.I., Ciara, Ne-Yo, Young Jeezy and became the lead stylist for recording artist Chrisette Michelle. She was also the in house stylist at Black Entertainment Television, responsible for styling all VJs and news anchors.
Driscoll's career is soaring. Her upcoming work includes wardrobe styling for a play and a short film. The joy of styling for Driscoll is in its constant change. Styling is an ever-evolving entity, there are always new people, new trends, and new challenges -all of which Driscoll has charmed, created, and conquered.
