Rebecca Casciano comes from a long line of artists, so it's no wonder that this innovative make-up artist is taking the industry by storm. Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Casciano always had an creative eye and was encourage by her family to make good on her artistic abilities. Taking their advice Casciano moved to New York City to study Advertising Design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. She made a quick detour when a fateful encounter with a make-up artist inspired her to follow her real passion.
One of Casciano's first assisting gigs was on the set of Erykah Badu's 'Bag Lady' video where Casciano said she felt like she had found her calling. Casciano independently learned about the business and established a consistent clientele thereafter. She was excited by the creativity, diversity, and fun that came along with being a make-up artist.
Casciano has worked with author Toni Morrison, Amel Larrieux, Santogold and Rachael Sage, reality stars Angela & Vanessa Simmons and notable men such as Anderson Cooper and Frederic Fekkai. Casciano's advertising work consists of Revlon, McDonald's, Macy's, and Ralph Lauren's Rugby. Her work has been seen on television shows like MTV Video Music Awards, VH1 Hip Hop Honors, The Tony Awards, and the Grammys.
Casciano believes her positive attitude and passion are the reasons why she's been so successful. Casciano is currently working on creating an organic makeup line. For Casciano, the ultimate goal is combining the things she loves to help change people's lives for the better.
